For some reason Paris, France has a magic atmosphere. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Of course there are the famous tourist attractions, Tour Eiffel, etc., but it is something else.
Lots of old buildings with great architecture. Sitting at a sidewalk cafe, just relaxing, watching the people go by, the Latin Quarter with all its narrow streets and small cafes with a fellow outside trying to get you to come to his place to eat. And the food here is reasonable.
Then there is where the artists do their paintings at Montmarte and of course the big white cathedral, Sacre Coeur is there also. It is fun to watch the artists in the act of doing their paintings, of course thru the years, their prices have gone way up, too much so.
Then walking from place to place is a charm also, seeing lots of diffferent size buildings, even the tall ones with apts. and no elevators. I guess all in all, there is magic in the air.
